Roy Teitsworth, Inc. is pleased to present an additional option to liquidate your surplus equipment.  We currently offer a highly successful series of live regional municipal auctions across Central and Western New York State.  Several of these include online bidding in conjunction with the live auction bidding.  

At the request of many of our customers we will be adding on online auction service running one auction per month.  Administration of this service will be done by Roy Teitsworth, Inc. staff.  While we believe this service cannot take the place of live auctions, we consider it a tool to be used in unique situations to liquidate some surplus items and specialized equipment.

The auction will run for a 7 day period once per month, beginning the first Wednesday of every month.  Hosting one auction per month will give us the opportunity for inclusion of the equipment in additional marketing material used for our live auctions.  Sellers will have the opportunity to accept or reject the bid.  Marketing is the key to the success of any auction whether it be online or live.  The more exposure the equipment has using diversified methods of marketing the more potential buyers we are able to reach. 

Buyers will have the opportunity to pre-register for the upcoming auctions and will be given a permanent user ID and password that will be used for all Roy Teitsworth, Inc. online auctions.  They will use that User ID and password to log into each auction and must agree to the “Terms of Sale” contract before they are assigned a bidder number.  Bidder numbers are not permanent.   

Successful bidders will be invoiced immediately at the close of the auction.  They will have 4 days to complete payment using a variety of methods.  Once payment has been made they will be issued a paid receipt and will be allowed to pick up the equipment during designated days and times.  The seller will be paid 10 days after the date of the auction with a guaranteed check by Roy Teitsworth, Inc.  Equipment left at the seller location after the removal date will be moved.
